The university was formerly known as Pusat Latihan Staf Politeknik ( PLSP ) which was established on September 16 , 1993. The core business of PLSP then was to train and produce polytechnics academic staff to become knowledgeable and skilful in various engineering fields. The training institute was jointly administered by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
Arunai International Research Foundation was founded in February 25th,2016 - Licensed under Section 8 of Companies Act, 2013, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It is constituted to spread and emphasise the cause of multidisciplinary research subjects in international scenario. Arunai International Research Foundation, Tiruvannamalai, TamilNadu, India founded by Mrs. Ekambaram Radha and Dr. Kasi Kamalakannan, the Directors are actively involving in promoting the realm of research.
The main objective of this International Conference is to bring together Senior and Young Researchers working in the area of Applied Mathematical Sciences and Engineering to exchange new schemes and to discuss current challenging issues.
