ICAMS-2021

Arunai International Research Foundation, Department of Chemistry, University of Calicut, Kerala
International Conference on Advances in Materials Science (ICAMS-2021)
Dates : 11-09-2021 & 12-09-2021
Mode : Online (Platform-Zoom)

University of Calicut

The University of Calicut is the largest University in Kerala. Established in the year 1968, it is the second university to be set up in Kerala. The University aims to nurture excellence in education and research in its catchment areas of Northern Kerala, historically consigned to the periphery of Kerala's academic map.The University lays its emphasis on fostering quality human resource and promoting productive research that benefit both local communities and wider humanity. With 34 post graduate and research departments, 3 centres, 11 chairs and 395 affiliated colleges, it has become a beacon of hope and enlightenment for hundreds of thousands of young men and women in Kerala.

The Department of Chemistry at University of Calicut was established in 1968 with a mission to create a world class center for postgraduate education and advanced research in chemical sciences. Over the years, it has trained hundreds of students and young researchers to take up academic and industrial position in India and abroad and has a rich alumnus to its credit. Presently the department offers M. Sc., M. Phil., and Ph.D. degrees. The thrust areas of research include Nano Science, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Electro Chemistry, Advanced Materials, Corrosion Studies, Polymer Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Super Critical Fluids, Catalysis etc.

Arunai International Research Foundation

Arunai International Research Foundation was founded in February 25th, 2016 - Licensed under Section 8 of Companies Act, 2013, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India. It is constituted to spread and emphasise the cause of multidisciplinary research subjects in international scenario. Arunai International Research Foundation, Tiruvannamalai, TamilNadu, India founded by Mrs. Ekambaram Radha and Dr. Kasi Kamalakannan, the Directors are actively involving in promoting the realm of research.
